Peer review process

The originals received that meet the stipulations in the Rules for authors that are in the About the journal menu, are valued by the Editorial Committee that reviews compliance with the requirements and designates for anonymous evaluation to expert academic peers.

The team of evaluators is made up of professionals with extensive experience and recognition in the different thematic areas covered by the journal. The arbitration process is guided by the following criteria:

  • Contents: contributions, significance and relevance of the topics, contributions to the field of knowledge, depth in the treatment, conceptual and methodological rigor.
  • Form: structure, style and readability.

The results of the evaluation are:

  1. Article approved for publication without corrections or minimum corrections.
  2. Article approved for publication with modifications.
  3. Article not approved for publication.

RGPS does not disable authors whose articles were not approved to resubmit their corrected materials.

RGPS reserves the right to accept or reject the works in accordance with the recommendations of the Editorial Committee and with the opinion of the peer reviewers, as well as to propose the review and editorial changes it deems necessary. In case an article is accepted for publication, the reproduction rights will be from the journal.
