Abstract

This article comments on the Judgment of the Tenth Chamber of the Court of Justice of the EU of December 15, 2022 (Case C‑577/21) which responded to the request for a preliminary ruling made by the Sofia City Court, of Bulgaria) in a case concerning compulsory insurance for civil liability resulting from the circulation of motor vehicles. The CJEU establishes a broad concept of "bodily damage" that covers the psychological suffering of a child only in the case of pathological damage.
