Peer Review Process

Peer review process

Articles that meet all the conditions will be sent by the editor to the respective referees (experts, national and international, belonging to the same area of knowledge developed in each document) for their evaluation. During the review process, the manuscript is a confidential and non-disclosure document.

The evaluation process consists of a “double blind review”, since the referees are anonymous and, in turn, do not know the names of the authors. The comments of the expert evaluators to the articles are made known to the main author.

The responsibility for the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of the article comes from the editor of the journal, which is based on the concepts issued by the referees. The concept of the evaluators will be communicated to the author (s), who (s) must attend to their observations within the term provided by the editor.
